The Information We Collect: When placing your order at Barista Pro Shop, you provide us with some specific personal information. This information includes your name and address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment information and your interest in specific types of products. We may also collect certain non-personal information including the type of browser you are using, the type of operating system you use and the domain name of your Internet service provider.
How We Use this Information: The information that you provide is used to fulfill your order, to respond to your inquiries, and to notify you of your order's status. We may occasionally send you additional information about our products in special promotional mailings. If you prefer not to receive these promotional mailings, please make sure you check the box that says "Check this box if you'd like to opt out of promotional emailings.", which is located at the bottom of the page where you fill in your address information. If you ever wish to be added to, or removed from, our mailing list, you can make this change to your account information at any time. The non-personal information we collect may be used to improve the design and content of our site and in the aggregate to analyze site usage. We may disclose personal information in response to legal process and/or in response to a law enforcement agency's request. Finally, we may disclose personal information in response to a charge-back inquiry from our merchant bank about your payment. We will not sell or transfer personally identifiable information provided to us to parties outside of our company except as described above.
Cookies: To enhance your experience with Barista Pro Shop, many of our web pages use "cookies" and shopper ID's. Cookies are text files we place in your computer's browser to store your preferences. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your e-mail address or other personal information unless you choose to provide this information. However, once you choose to furnish our site with personally identifiable information, this information may be linked to the data stored in the cookie.
Credit Cards: All orders placed through our web site are processed on our secure server with 1024 bit encryption. Your payment information is sent directly to our credit card processor. For added security, we do not store credit card numbers in our database. For your convenience, we store and print only the last four digits of the credit card used on receipts so that you may identify purchase information in your records.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with every purchase you make at Barista Pro Shop. All of our products are backed by our 100% money back guarantee. If you have any problem with any item purchased here our return policy is simple.
- Call us at (866) PRO LATTE or email us within 30 days of the date you received the product and let us know why you're returning the item.
- Upon receipt of the unused product, we will issue a credit to the credit card you used to pay for your order.
Orders will generally be processed, assembled and shipped the first business day after your order is placed. As you know, we roast all our coffee to order. Accordingly, if you have coffee in your order, it will be roasted on the next roast day and then shipped. If you are concerned that your coffee may hold up the rest of your order, we suggest that you give us a call Toll Free at (866) 776-5288 to find out exactly when we believe your order will ship. Alternatively, you may want to place 2 separate orders, one for your coffee and one for your other products.
There are no minimum order requirements. If you would like your order shipped outside the United States, please contact us.
You are welcome to pick up your order at one of our warehouses and avoid paying shipping. Pickups at our warehouses can be made Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (This option is only available to Colorado and New Hampshire customers on the web site. If you are outside of Colorado or New Hampshire and would like the option of picking up your order, this can be arranged. Please contact us, and we'll set it up). Please place your order online and select "I'll pick it up at the warehouse" from the shipping options. You will receive an email from us when your order is ready to be picked up. Retail orders are usually shipped via UPS Ground. Shipping charges for retail orders are calculated via the following system:

Orders for your coffee shop or business can be shipped via many options. Shipping charges for business orders are based on cost estimates returned by the carrier. (See the shipping Cost and transit time estimates and instant freight rebate sections of this policy page for more information.)
We obviously work very hard to maintain stock on all of the items at Barista Pro Shop. Occasionally though, we do run out of some items. If you add an item to your cart that we are currently out of, we will wait until we can fill your order completely to ship it to you. If you would prefer to have the available items shipped to you without waiting for our stock to replenish, please order those items today, without adding any out of stock items to your cart. Please visit us again to order the out of stock items. If you'd like to find out how long we expect to be out of stock on an item, please feel free to contact us. We would be happy to send you an email when your product is available again if you ask us to when you contact us.
Depending on the time of year you place your order, there may be items that we worry about melting or freezing. This includes chocolate and confections (melting) and sugar free syrups (freezing). When you checkout with these items in your cart, you will be given the option of confirming that you wish to order those items, or you may remove them from your cart. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Shipping cost and transit time estimates provided during checkout are just that - estimates. If the actually shipping cost differs from the estimate by more than 10% we will need to charge you (or refund you) the difference. Of course, we will ask your approval first and if you do not wish to pay any additional freight costs we will refund your money in full.
We ship lots of product by freight every day and BPS pays the freight charge. We've recently overhauled our Instant Freight Rebate program to make it even easier to earn free freight. If we ship to you using FedEx Freight, and you order $750 of product we will immediately give you $50 back to defray the freight costs. We'll also tell you what you need to spend to get free freight no matter what you order. We've also added a "packaging material" element to the Instant Freight Rebate. For example, the cost to us of shipping you a case of Monin syrup is about $3.00 in packing materials. If you order that case as part of a freight shipment, we'll give the $3.00 right back to you - we'd rather spend the money on you, our customer, than the box company. Is this confusing? The great news is that our website calculates all this for you as you're placing your order. Customers proximate to our Loveland, CO and Londonderry, NH warehouses may qualify for delivery on a BPS® truck. BPS® Delivery is FREE for orders over $150, or orders containing $100 of BPS Bakery *(Bakery items only available to Colorado customers).
