A Chill in the Air

Tuesday September 7, 2010

It’s amazing how time flies.  All of a sudden….school is back in session, Labor Day has passed, and I’m writing about pumpkins!  In Colorado, there’s definitely been that undeniable autumn crispness in the cool morning air the past few weeks.  So, as we bid adieu to summer and its playful ways, let’s celebrate the many flavors of fall.

 Da Vinci Pumpkin Pie Sauce

Nothing says fall like pumpkin flavored sauces and syrups.  These popular favorites are always the first to start flying off the shelf as cooler weather sets in.  Da Vinci, Monin, and Torani all make a pumpkin pie or pumpkin spice flavored syrup.  Da Vinci and Torani also carry a pumpkin pie flavored sauce.  Now, we don’t want to sound biased…..ok, maybe we do…..Da Vinci Pumpkin Pie Flavored Sauce is phenomenal!  Many of our customers await its yearly arrival, and it is here now!  This sauce is just the right combination of spicy and creamy sweetness.  Yum!  Looking forward just a little, prepare for gingerbread, peppermint, and egg nog to make their grand entrance.

Autumn is also synonymous (at least in this industry) with chai.  BPS has so many great chai options, you just have to check them out.  From the graham cracker sweet note of David Rio and Big Train to the uber intense Third Street Spicy Ginger, we have a chai to fit all tastes!  New to the lineup this year are additional flavors of Oregon Chai powdered chMountain Cider Concentrateai:  Decadent Spice and Vanilla.

Last, but certainly not least, is Mountain Cider Concentrate.  Add a splash of caramel syrup and you’ve got a caramel apple in a cup.

I hope you all had a brilliant summer, and please feel free to contact us if you need suggestions for making the most of your fall flavors!
