Exploring Single Origin Ingredients with Da Vinci

Da Vinci Naturals Single Origin Hawaiian Salted Caramel Organic. Natural. Fair Trade. Single Origin. These are all buzzwords commonly heard in the specialty coffee industry. Most of them evoke thoughts of high-quality coffee and products. It’s not surprising then, that a syrup company decided to bank on a couple of those concepts and create a syrup line that could be paired with high grade coffee. Enter Da Vinci Gourmet Naturals Single Origin Syrups.

These syrups are all-natural and crafted using single origin ingredients from locations famous for particular flavors. Check out these offerings and detailed info and tasting notes provided by Da Vinci:

Turkish Hazelnut – Features hazelnuts grown along the coast of the Black Sea that are picked at the peak of ripeness and naturally sun dried.

Madagascar Vanilla – Features vanilla beans that are grown in the fertile tropical climate of Madagascar. The plants are hand pollinated, and vanilla beans are dried for up to 8 months on the vine after which they are sun dried before processing. (*Also available in Sugar-Free, which is not an all-natural product)

Pacific Northwest Raspberry – Features raspberries from Washington State and Oregon where the soil is rich and there is a long cool growing season. The berries lend a radiant red color to the syrup and a slightly tart profile.

Hawaiian Salted Caramel – Features sea salt from the waters of Hawaii. The salt is unprocessed, rich in minerals, and offers a slightly mellow taste that perfectly compliments sweet syrup. The syrups pink color is derived from the Alea-Reddish Hawaiian clay.
