Oh how time flies, we’ve blown through the first quarter of the year, and do you know what that means?  You guessed it, the second Coffee Fest Show of this year is almost upon us.  That’s right, Coffee Fest Chicago is just 7 weeks away which means it’s time to start planning to make your way to the Windy City.  This is a show you will not want to miss; even if you’ve attended a Coffee Fest in the past you haven’t seen anything like this.  Although you can expect the competitions you’ve come to know and love as well as a full schedule of classes and workshops, there are a few new features that will make this show one of a kind.

This show will also launch the first ever Drink Innovations Lab hosted by Torani, in conjunction with co-sponsors David Rio and Pacific Foods, which will begin with an introduction to some current industry trends and techniques for creating recipes that allows your menu to appeal to a larger customer base and keep you on at the forefront of what’s new and exciting!  After this portion, you will participate in a hands-on workshop creating drinks from 5 main categories typically served in coffeeshops and cafés, including: Lemonade/Iced Tea & Hand Crafted Sodas, Batching Techniques: Cold Brew vs. Drip, Indulgent Drinks & Alternative Milk Options, Frappes & Smoothies, and Chai Tea.  This means you will get the expert training you want from the industry’s leading brands in flavors, chai tea, and alternative milks!  For just a $49 investment, you will definitely see a great return once you implement the skills and recipe ideas you learn during this session.  This lab will be hosted everyday of the show so there’s no reason to miss this awesome and engaging course!
