Meet The Producers

On May 5th, better known as Cinco de Mayo, Barista Pro Shop will be celebrating much more than just the heroic military victory of Mexican forces; we will be celebrating specialty coffee with Meet the Producers! Yes, you read that correctly; Meet the Producers is back!  Not only is this our 4th time hosting this event; this time around we are pulling out the stops so do not forget to RSVP!

Are you as excited as we are here at Barista Pro Shop?

If you’re not excited, you’ve probably never been to our Meet the Producers event.  

So, what is Meet the Producers?  

MTP 3.0 Gentlemen discussing product.Meet the Producers is Barista Pro Shop’s specialty coffee product expo or trade show.  Heard of Coffee Fest or SCAA Expo?  It’s a bit like those shows. Although, we have to admit it’s not quite as extravagant, but if you’re anywhere near Northern Colorado it’s a lot closer to home and full of excitement, oh and did I mention it’s FREE to attend?!  Meet the Producers brings in representatives from your favorite brands such as David Rio, Cappuccine, Ghirardelli, Torani, Two Leaves and a Bud, Toddy, and the list goes on.

 This event is an awesome opportunity to find out about the newest product releases, sample products you have been interested in evaluating, and learning even more applications for the products you’re already stocking in your coffee shop or café.  If worse comes to worst, you’ll have some fun meeting the BPS® team, networking with specialty coffee professionals, and enjoy free food which can be washed down with beer or cocktails from the great folks at Black Bottle Brewery! 

So what is new?

If you’ve attended a previous Meet the Producers, you know the drill; so what’s new at this year’s Meet the Producers?  For the first time ever, Meet the Producers is a 2-DAY event! We’ve made this adjustment to accommodate shops that operate with limited staff, but wanted all of their baristas to experience Meet the Producers. Check the dates and times below, then be sure to RSVP for this event, because the first 50 RSVPs for both days will receive an awesome goodie bag, loaded up with samples and more!

DAY #1: Thursday, May 5th @ 1:00pm to 5:00pm

DAY #2: Friday, May 6th @ 9:00am to 12:00pm

That’s not all that will be new to the 2016 Meet the Producers, this year we will have a great selection of training classes and demos presented by prestigious brands such as Urnex and DaVinci Gourmet. Once we get closer to the show, you will be able to reserve spots in any of the classes or demos that interest you. All of the classes and demos are free for attendees.
