If you are missing traveling home for the holiday's these cocoa recipes will leave you with the feeling of being wrapped in a hug from a mug.
Tobi's "The King's Hot Chocolate"
A more royal take on a serendipity frozen hot chocolate that is fit for a king. We're celebrating Christmas in Hawaii with this sweet banana and savory peanut butter hot chocolate.

8oz of Heavy Cream

1/4 cup Ghirardelli Frozen Hot Cocoa
-
6oz ice
Kristen's "Holiday Cocoa Bombs"

1 cup of Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Chocolate Chips for melting

1 oz of Monin Peppermint Syrup per drink
-
Marshmallows
-
Silicone mold
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Pour melted chocolate in a half circle shaped silicone mold. Place in the freezer to harden. Once each side has hardened take one side of the sphere and fill with hot cocoa mix and your choice of toppings. I used marshmallows but the topping choices are endless. Take the leftover chocolate and reheat it. Take the empty side of the sphere and dip the edges in the melted chocolate, place the two sides together and let it harden again.
To make your drink place the hot cocoa bomb in a cup and top with hot milk and syrup. Stir to reveal your toppings!

Ghirardelli Chocolate and White Chocolate flavored sauce for drizzle

Red sugar cookie crystals
Add syrups to steamed chocolate oatmilk and espresso shots and then top with whipped cream, Ghirardelli chocolate and white chocolate sauce. Add red sugar cookie crystals for that warm holiday look. Can be made without espresso too! But I think Santa has a better chance of getting all the way around the globe in one night with the help of a little caffeine!
