Pumpkin hot cocoa

Pumpkin Pie Hot Cocoa 

You've most likely tossed your Halloween jack-o-lanterns and the pumpkin spice recipes from Thanksgiving are a distant memory.  But there is still one pumpkin hanging around. In walks pumpkin pie hot cocoa. I bet you are thinking pumpkin is a fall flavor—hear us out.

Pumpkin is versatile. It can easily be dressed up in a warm hot chocolate and welcomed into winter.

Made with Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa Mix and 1883 Pumpkin Pie Syrup, this combination is great for watching the snowfall (or at least closing your eyes and pretending to be in a place where it is snowing). Cocoa take us away!

Ingredients:
• 1 pack of 15 oz Ghirardelli Premuim Hot Cocoa Mix
• 1 oz 1883 Pumpkin Pie Syrup
• 8 ounces of Hot Water, Milk, or Alternative Milk 

Combine ingredients in your favorite mug and top with whipped cream (optional but encouraged)

Pomegranate Kentucky Mule (no burros were harmed in the making of this cocktail)

Pomegranate is festive, but they can be a mess to harvest. Let 1883 do the work for you and use their pomegranate syrup in your cocktail!

Move over cranberries there is a new health fruit home for the holidays, but... we are mixing it with ginger beer and bourbon so let's not emphasize "health" and stick to jolly and cheerful.

Back to the cocktail (or mocktail) making. Assemble your ingredientsif you have fresh rosemary grab it for a garnish you won't regret it. Also, if you are asking yourself "is this a shaken or stirred drink?", STIR always stir. If you shake, there will be a mess, and bourbon will be spilled, neither of which are good things.

Ingredients:
• 2 ounces Bourbon
• 4 ounces of Ginger Beer
• 1 ounce of 1883 Pomegrante Syrup
• 1 ounce crushed ice
• Sprig of rosemary

Fill your glass with ice. Stir together your bourbon and 1883 syrup. Pour in ginger beer and stir again. Garnish with rosemary.


Vanilla Latte

Vanilla Latte with Cinnamon

Vanilla isn't new to the world of coffee, but why mess with tradition? This familiar combination is nostalgic and who didn't see that coming around the holidays? Take a moment, put on your favorite holiday tune and enjoy this "basic" beverage! 

Ingredients:
• Drip, espresso, pour over, or cold brew. The way you caffeinate is up to you.
• 1-2 ounces of 1883 Vanilla Syrup (adjust to your preference)

Combine ingredients in your favorite mug and top with cinnamon.
