Organic Chocolate Syrup
Chocolate is made with the pods of the cacao tree, native to Central America, and used by Mayans and Aztecs in a bitter ceremonial drink. After the discovery of the Americas, the conquistadors brought cacao back to Spain where somebody thought of mixing it with honey or sugar, immediately increasing its popularity in the continent. Later, in the nineteenth century, the first chocolate bar was born. Nowadays, the rich, sweet flavor of chocolate is greatly popular around the world.
