We’ve Added a New BPS Coffee – Nicaraguan

Coffee BeansWe just tasted the newest coffee in the BPS Coffee line up: a Fair Trade Organic Nicaraguan from a cooperative in the Segovia region consisting of Caturra, Maragogype, and Bourbon varietals.  Whew!  That’s a mouthful; let’s talk taste!  For this tasting we picked up on subtle maple and caramel aromas with a slight woodiness.  The first slurp was all walnut with a big buttery body.  Caramel, woodiness, and a little acidity (think green apple) were present as we continued.  Finish is smooth and doesn’t linger long.  This coffee is roasted light.  Try some and let us know what you think!
