Lively Libations - Purpose Filled Beverages (Spring 2020)

During these uncertain times, good health is important and always on our minds. We are here to provide you with some of our past recipes that are not only delicious, but will also give you the extra boost that you need to keep you going strong!

Hydrate Tea Infusion

Hydrate and energize your body with this fruity drink! With green coffee extract from Dr. Smoothie’s Strawberry Refresher and the combination of hibiscus and spearmint tea, you can't go wrong.

Yield: 1, 12 oz. Drink

Ingredients:
• 1 sachet of Two Leaves And A Bud Hydrate - Herbal Thirst Quencher Tea
• 1 oz. of Dr. Smoothie Strawberry Acai Refreshers
• 1 oz. of Dr. Smoothie Organic Raspberry Blend Smoothie Concentrate
• 6 oz. of Hot Water
• 4 oz. of Ice 

Optional Garnish: Fresh Fruit

Directions: Steep the tea in 6 oz. of hot water for 5 minutes. Allow the tea to cool, then combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake well. Pour the mixture over ice and serve.

Antioxidant-Packed Berry Limeade Soda

Enjoy this delicious guilt-free, antioxidant-packed soda option for a refreshing spring treat.

Yield: 4, 8 oz. Drinks

Ingredients:

• 4 oz. of Smartfruit™ Blooming Berry +Antioxidants
• 4 oz. (or 16 pumps) of Torani Sugar Free Lime Syrup
• 24 oz. of Water

Optional Garnish: Fresh Berries & Lime Wedges

Directions: Pour all of the ingredients into an iSi Soda Siphon (quart capacity). Firmly attach the lid, load a charger and give it a good shake (see the iSi Stainless Steel Soda Siphon Usage Guide & Safety Brochure). Chill the soda for 20-30 minutes. Add fresh berries to the bottom of your serving cup and fill with soda. Garnish with a slice of lime!

Green Detox Bloody Mary 

A spicy combintion of fruits, vegetables and superfoods that is both detoxifying and exciting.

Yield: 1, 16 oz. Drink

Ingredients:
• 2 oz. of Smartfruit Harvest Greens + Detox
• 6 ml (or 2 pumps) of Monin Jalapeño Concentrated Flavor
• 6 ml (or 2 pumps) of Monin Cucumber Concentrated Flavor
• ½ oz. of Island Rose Premium Lemonade Concentrate
• 12 oz. of Seltzer Water
• 1 oz. of Ice
• Optional: To make the drink a cocktail, substitute 1 oz. of seltzer water with 1 oz. of vodka.

Optional Garnish: Celery Stalk, Jalapeno, Cucumbers & Olives

Directions: Mix together the Smartfruit blend, jalapeno and cucumber concentrates. Add the Island Rose and stir. Add ice and the seltzer water to top off the glass. Garnish as desired and enjoy!

 Turmeric Desert Rose

This unique combination of spicy and sweet is sure to wake up your mind and all of your senses. With zesty habanero pepper and golden turmeric espresso topped with a fragrant rose steamed milk, you’ll be alert and present in no time! 

Yield: 1, 12 oz. Drink

Ingredients:
• 2 shots of Espresso
• 1 oz. of Monin Rose Syrup
• 8 oz. of Milk (or Milk Substitute)
• 2 tsps of David Rio Turmeric Latte Powder
• 3 mL (1 pump) Monin Habanero Concentrated Flavor

Optional Garnish: Rose Petals & a Habenero Pepper

Directions: Brew espresso. Add turmeric s yrup and habanero concentrate to mug. Steam milk of choice with rose syrup. Pour espresso over syrup in mug. Finish with perfectly steamed rose milk. Garnish as desired, and enjoy!

Perfectly Peachy Bellini 

Pop goes the prosecco! This cocktail will make you want to sit on a patio and soak up the sun. It is easy to assemble and has a few added health benefits too! 

Yield: 1, 6 oz. Drink

Ingredients:
• 1 oz. of Smartfruit Perfect Peach+Energy
• 5 oz. of Prosecco 

Optional Garnish: Fresh Peach Slices

Directions: Pour the Smartfruit Peach in the bottom of the glass and top with chilled prosecco. Give it a quick stir and garnish with a fresh slice of peach.

Prebiotic Pina Colada

Do you want to indulge in a fun, fruity drink while still getting added nutrients? This fresh take on a classic is the perfect pick-me-up for a warm spring afternoon!

Yield: 1, 16 oz. Drink

Ingredients:

• 4 oz. of Smartfruit™ Aloha Pineapple+Prebiotic
• 3 oz. of Water
• 9 oz. of Ice

Optional Garnish: Sliced Mango

Directions: Add all of the ingredients into the blender (liquids first then ice), and blend until smooth. Pour the blend into your favorite poolside cup and enjoy!

Detox Medicine Ball

A unique combination of lemonade, hibiscus and peppermint, this soothing concoction is a great source of Vitamin C and antioxidants.

Yield: 1, 12 oz. Drink

Ingredients:
• 1 Sachet of Two Leaves and a Bud Detox - Herbal Tea for Recovery
• 1 Sachet of Two Leaves and a Bud Organic Peppermint
• 1 oz. of Island Rose Premium Lemonade Concentrate
• 11 oz. of Hot Water

Directions: Steep the tea in hot water for 5 minutes according to the instructions on the package. Remove the sachets and stir in the lemonade concentrate. Relax and enjoy!

Brimming with fruity flavor and wholesome ingredients, this blended beauty is the perfect way to enjoy a cool, sweet treat while sneaking in those added vegetables and nutrients.

Ingredients:
• 5 oz. of Dr. Smoothie Organic Pineapple Smoothie Concentrate
• 1 scoop of  Dr. Smoothie Leafy Greens Beverage Blend-Ins 
• 3 oz. of KidsLuv Starstruck Coconut - Juice Infused Water
• 8 oz. of Ice

Optional Garnish: Bubba’s Fine Foods Bourbon Vanilla Ungranola

Directions: Add all of the listed ingredients into your blender and blend. Pour into your serving glass and garnish as desired.
