Plant-based beverages are popular and we understand why! The taste is great and the added health benefits are a real bonus. This month we partnered with Pacific Natural Foods to spread plant-based love by sharing recipes developed with alternative milk. Mooovve over dairy the plants are here to stay!

Tia’s Blue Morpho cold brew

Morpho is the name of a blue butterfly. The Meaning of a Blue Butterfly can be often seen as a sign of life or often considered a symbol of love. Made with Hemp Milk: Did you know Hemp Milk is an excellent source of calcium and iron?

Directions: Blend together cold brew, ice, and blueberry syrup. With a frother or blender froth together Rose syrup Vanilla syrup and cold hemp milk. Top cold brew with cold hemp foam and enjoy!

¾ oz 1883 Blueberry Syrup

¾ oz 1883 Rose Syrup

1 oz 1883 Vanilla Syrup

4 oz Cold-Brew Coffee

3 oz Pacific Natural Foods Barista Series Hemp Milk

4 oz ice

Elyse’s Nutty Banana Oat Smoothie

I am always looking for ways to cut out dairy and increase the fiber in my kiddo’s diet. I have found this drink is something they love and will ask for more. Let’s be honest, mom drinks this drink with a little bit of rum. Coconut milk is a great alternative to dairy for the following diets; Dairy-free, Gluten-Free, Kosher Parve, Soy Free, and Vegan.

Directions: Add all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. Pour into your kiddo's favorite cup and enjoy the quiet.

Elyse's Nutty Banana Oat Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 oz Smartfruit™ Sunny Banana +Oat Power

2 oz Pacific Natural Foods Barista Series Coconut Original

2 Tbsp Modern Oats Coconut Almond Oatmeal

4 oz ice

Tobi’s No Butter Way Iced Latte

A smooth and robust iced latte is the perfect addition to your morning routine. Still, working from home? Keep it fancy in a wine glass for added pizzaz for your desk. Or is it the South of France? No one knows. There’s no butter way to have your morning coffee. The Hazelnut Pacific Natural Foods uses in their milk is sourced from Oregon. gluten-free, and dry roasted to bring out their warm, nutty flavor.

Directions: Pour 1 shot in the bottom of your cup with your sauce to dissolve and incorporate syrup. Add Ice and Milk. Top with a shot of espresso and more Dulce Sauce. Enjoy.

Ingredients: Tobi's No Butter Way Iced Latte

2 oz Espresso

½ oz Monin Brown Butter

1 oz Monin Dulce de Leche Sauce

10 oz Pacific Natural Foods Hazelnut Milk

Kristen’s HONEY, I sweetened the tea!

Refreshing iced tea naturally sweetened with honey, mix in your favorite syrups to make it your own. We like raspberry, lavender, and peach! Honey is naturally rich in antioxidants and a great alternative to processed sugars.

Directions: Steep your tea according to package directions and sweeten to taste. Provide options by letting customers choose their additional flavors!

Ingredients:

Smith Exceptional Black Iced Tea

Alex’s Top o’ the Mornin! Cold Brew

A classic cold brew for those warm days ahead with a bit of a plant-based Irish twist! Soy milk is a great source of protein packing in 5g per serving.

Directions: Brew cold brew coffee(preferably overnight in the Toddy Artisan Brewer). Add 1oz Monin Irish Cream syrup and Ice to the cup and pour cold brew over the ice leaving about an inch or so from the rim to add the soy cold foam. To achieve the cold foam, add 1oz Irish cream syrup and blend the soy milk in a blender on low or use a hand frother to create a rich creamy foam(dairy-free that is!) and scoop in.
